Daft About Dance Jerusalem

About This Blog

Daft About DanceJerusalem is a personal record of my experiences during my study in Israel, academic year 2011-2012. In this blog, I discussed my technical and creative work throughout my Dance studies at JAMD, my tourist excursions in and out of Israel, my explanations of the logistics of being immersed in a completely new culture, and other various personal experiences.

Though I make no new postings to this blog, I hope it may serve as a story-based reference for prospective DanceJerusalem students and dancers interested in reading my thoughts about dancing in Israel.

About Carlo Antonio Villanueva

Since returning to the US from Israel, I completed my BFA in Dance at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. I now declare myself a New York City-based freelance dance artist. I am generally new to creating dance works. I am interested in truth in education. I perform, advise, condition, take class, build, usher, view, stage manage, run, and teach. I wish to help others by helping them acquire more information.
